About Afterlife:
Afterlife is a multi-gaming International European Community of like-minded players founded in 2009 trough the game AION. We love the competition that is involved in PvP and the glory of winning.

Afterlife has gained its name among the MMO community by performance on the highest level in several MMO’s including but not limited to: AION, AoC, LOTRO, SW:TOR, WAR, WOW and others. This has earned Afterlife respect and renown among players and developers alike. Afterlife is a unique community that has a proven track record with the relevant experience where it matters. It is because of this that we do not need to provide huge walls of text, we just explain what you can realistically achieve when you join us.

What we can offer you:
We offer a solid leadership with an extensive MMO background. Each and every of our members represents a wealth of experience and accomplishments across MMO PvP fields.

We are an extremely social and lively community of players, regular WvWvW raids under most experienced raid leaders out there with exclusive beta test access, E-sports teams and a place with atmosphere to develop your own skills and gain glory in international tournaments.

Afterlife is composed of a multitude of people playing during various times of day and night and as such we are open for recruits from both Europe and North America. This provides you with a 24/7 active guild and people to roll with no matter your playing hours.

Our Goal:
Afterlife strives to dominate both the WvWvW aspect of the game as well as any kind of competitive PvP available at launch and in future – including any tournaments to be organized by ArenaNet.

We are looking for:
Afterlife is composed of multiple branches with different expectations and benefits. When you apply to the guild you’ll have to decide which one you’d like to see yourself in. If for some reason you’re in the wrong branch, you’ll be able to switch but with certain restrictions. No matter which branch you join you are expected to represent Afterlife at all times while online.

Full Members and Casual Members:
If you decide to join Afterlife on a full basis you’ll be placed under a 2 week trial in the branch of your choice. You trial evaluation will be based on your activity and how well you’ll handle yourself within the particular branch.

Full Members:
WvW branch – WvW remains the main focus of Afterlife. To become one of our WvW members you need to know how to handle yourself in a big raid (60+ people) in terms of taking orders and fulfilling them in a quick manner. Afterlife has made a name for itself by never fleeing the fight – if you get an order to rush in 5 against 100 and you don’t hold back no matter what you lose by dying. This is how you become one of us. The fear of a zerg when our combined yet outnumbered raid breaks their ranks like they were air is something you’ll keep in your memory for a long time.

Structured PvP branch – People experienced in the arena part of the game. If you’d like to apply for this part of Afterlife you’ll be expected to submit links or videos that prove your achievements and ranking in small scale PvP. If you join this branch you’ll have a chance at joining our E-Sports teams and represent the guild in various tournaments worldwide.

PvE branch – If you are not a hardcore PvP player yet enjoy running with a cool bunch of people then you can apply for the PvE branch composed of experienced raiders and raid leaders. Afterlife remains mainly a PvP Community so you will be expected to run with our WvW raids.

Casual members:
If for various reasons (family, job shifts etc.) you will not be able to fully commit yourself to a new game right from the start but you’d see yourself as Afterlife material you can go ahead and apply as a Casual member. While some activity might still be expected of you, your trial will be put on hold if you’re personal situation requires it. As a Casual member of Afterlife you can run under our name and will represent us in game but you’ll not receive benefits like access to the guild’s bank until you decide to join us on a full base.

Server of choice:
We have decided to roll on North American server and we do not have a particular server of choice as of yet. Afterlife will be running alongside multiple allied guilds like "BOON Control" (known from gamescom 2011) and as such the server choice will depend on more than our own random pick.

De leden die jullie zoeken dienen het Engels machtig te zijn dus zullen geen probleem hebben om je post te begrijpen. Je spreekt hier echter het NL/VL-talige publiek aan op een NL/VL-talige community (hehe, gebruik ik zelf ook Engels, maar ja, "gemeenschap" klinkt gewoon zo niet tof ). Daarom is het ook wel zo netjes als je de community in het NL/VL aanspreekt.
